1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing us for your travel and diving experience. These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and services provided by our PT. PINISI DIVING & TOURISM. By confirming a booking or using this website, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Booking & Confirmation
- All bookings must be submitted via email or booking platform and must include full passenger details as shown in passports.
- Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit.
- Special requests (e.g., dietary, medical, equipment) must be communicated at the time of booking.
3. Inclusions & Exclusions
3.1 Included in Your Booking:
- Transfers from and return to the airport and the MV Pindito
- Accommodation in a double bed or twin bed cabin with en-suite shower bath, toilet and AC
- Full board including all drinks on board, including beer and spirits on board (excluding wine)
- All diving (no diving on arrival/departure day)
- NITROX for whole cruise
- Multi-lingual guides/cruise directors on board
- all offered land excursions
3.2 Not Included:
- Harbor fees (80 USD)
- Fuel Surcharge (250 USD)
- NITROX course (on request available)
- Souvenirs onboard
- Crew gratuities
- Domestic airport-taxes and departure taxes
- Trip and Dive insurance (please note DAN is specific Dive insurance only)
- National marine park fees:
- Estimated 250 USD per person for the whole trip.
- (Depending on factors such as time spent at the marine parks and activities done)
- Rental equipment pricing:
- Mask, Fins, Snorkel package – 30 USD per cruise
- BCD – 100 USD per cruise
- Regulator set – 100 USD per cruise
- Dive computer – 60 USD per cruise
- Torch rental – 60 USD per cruise/ 5 USD per dive
- 15 Liter tank – 50 USD per cruise
4. Payments
4.1 Deposits
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking:
- Individual bookings: USD 800 per person
- Charter/group bookings: USD 2000 or as advised
- Full payment is due no later than 30 days prior to departure.
4.2 Late or Short-Notice Bookings
- Bookings made within 60 days of departure must be paid in full within 10 days of invoice.
5. Changes & Cancellations
5.1 Individual Booking Cancellation Policy:
- More than 121 days: USD 300 cancellation fee
- 120–90 days: 25% of total fare
- 89–60 days: 50% of total fare
- 59–0 days: 95% of total fare
5.2 Group/Charter Cancellation Policy:
- More than 365 days: USD 2000 cancellation fee
- 364–181 days: 15% of total fare
- 180–121 days: 30% of total fare
- 120–91 days: 50% of total fare
- 90–0 days: 95% of total fare
5.3 Rebooking
- Rebooking is permitted up to 45 days (individuals) or 180 days (groups) prior to departure and valid for up to 24 months. Fare differences may apply.
5.4 Substitute Passengers
- You may transfer your booking to another person up to 3 days prior to departure. Name change fees may apply.
6. Force Majeure
In case of uncontrollable events such as war, pandemic, or natural disaster:
- If we cancel due to Force Majeure → Full refund
- If you cancel due to Force Majeure but we are operational → Full refund
- If alternate routes or access are possible → Regular cancellation terms apply
7. Insurance
- Travel and diving insurance is mandatory.
- Proof of insurance must be presented before or at embarkation.
- Medical evacuations and trip interruptions are the passenger’s responsibility unless otherwise covered.
8. Liability
- We are not liable for injuries, death, or loss due to acts of war, natural disasters, accidents, or third-party negligence.
- Guests are required to sign a liability waiver onboard.
- All divers must be certified and medically cleared to dive.
9. Personal Belongings
We are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items, including dive equipment, cameras, or luggage.
10. Health & Fitness
By confirming a booking, you certify that you are physically and mentally fit to participate. We reserve the right to refuse participation or remove a guest who poses a safety risk.
11. Itineraries & Changes
- Itineraries are subject to change due to weather, safety, and local conditions.
- If necessary, alternative locations or services of equal quality will be provided.
- No refunds are given for unused portions of trips unless significant deviations occur.
12. Guest Conduct
All guests are expected to act respectfully toward crew, other passengers, and marine environments. Dangerous or disruptive behavior may result in immediate removal without refund.
13. Environmental Responsibility
We promote sustainable marine tourism. Guests must:
- Not touch or collect marine life
- Use reef-safe sunscreen
- Respect local wildlife, communities, and ecosystems
14. Diving Requirements
- Certified divers must present certification cards and logbooks.
- Divers who have not logged a dive within 12 months may be required to do a refresher.
- Dive activities are subject to weather and Cruise Director approval for safety.
15. Media Rights
We may take photos or videos of the trip for promotional purposes. Please notify us before departure if you prefer not to appear in marketing material.
16. Fulfillment of Service
Upon successful payment, your booking is confirmed by email. Services (cruise, diving, accommodation, etc.) will be delivered on the scheduled start date, as outlined in your itinerary. No physical goods are shipped.
17. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website and completing a booking or payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
18. Privacy Policy
Our handling of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.

20. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes shall be resolved under Indonesian jurisdiction.
