DISCOVER PINDITO
With almost 30 years of continuous service, Pindito’s crew are unrivalled in their knowledge and experience of Indonesia’s wonders, both above and below the water.
Launched in the Banda Sea in 1992, Pindito quickly expanded her routes to include Raja Ampat, Komodo, Ambon and Alor. Today, she continues to thrive as a true pioneer, exploring new regions and dive sites while developing and offering itineraries that are both unique and diverse.
Our eight cabins and shared spaces are comfortable and thoughtfully designed, providing a relaxed yet professional environment for all activities. We welcome water lovers of every level and strive to accommodate all kinds of adventure. Diving, snorkelling, whale and bird watching, paddleboarding, and island or cultural visits are just a few of the experiences Pindito offers. Photographers and videographers will also value the spacious, purpose-built camera room.
Lovingly crafted by Swiss owner Edi Frommenwiler, Pindito is meticulously maintained and upholds an impeccable safety record. Ongoing upgrades and improvements ensure she remains at the forefront of her class, with her smooth-riding, stabilised hull continuing to set the standard.
We look forward to welcoming you aboard Pindito in the near future.
Kind regards,
Edi Frommenwiler

Attentive service and safety
Our crew is dedicated to providing the highest level of service and attention, both on board and ashore. When planning each trip, we take into account the weather, local wildlife, as well as your individual skills and interests.
For activities, we ensure you are fully prepared, assisting you in and out of our four Zodiacs, and staying out on the water for as long as you do. We are experienced in safely handling camera equipment and are always ready to help with heavier gear.
All levels of experience are welcome. Whether you prefer to stay close to our eagle-eyed guides or explore independently at the back of the group, we keep our groups small to suit your personal style.
Simple and delicious cuisine
Pindito’s kitchen team carefully plans, shops, and prepares for every trip, with each dish cooked fresh on board. Our chefs serve a wide variety of flavourful dishes, with a focus on both international and, of course, Indonesian cuisine. With two breakfasts, delicious family-style meals, and a constant supply of fresh fruit, nuts, and cookies, you will never go hungry on Pindito. And just wait until you taste our freshly baked traditional Indonesian snacks — simply irresistible!
Please let us know of any dietary requirements in advance, and we will do our very best to accommodate them.
Charming and professional crew
From the moment you arrive, you will be greeted by the warm smiles of our crew – and that is just the beginning. Pindito has a professional team of more than 20, all dedicated to ensuring you enjoy a safe and comfortable voyage throughout your time with us.
Charming, attentive, and always ready to help, some of our crew members have been part of the Pindito family for over 20 years. On board, we’ve created a relaxed and intimate atmosphere that encourages you to unwind and immediately feel at home.

AN ADVENTURE ALL ABOUT NEW DISCOVERIES This trip takes you from Sorong in Irian Jaya, through the Molucca Sea past Halmahera to Manado in North Sulawesi. The 650 nautical mile journey takes us through a range of different land and seascapes. The trip starts with a taste of the beautiful coral reefs of Raja Ampat. On the south coast of Halmahera we will dive walls and drop-offs with big fish action. The small islands off the west coast of Halmahera are home to great coral reefs. The end of the trip in North Sulawesi offers you pristine coral reefs, great fish life and spectacular critter diving in the famous black sand of the Lembeh Strait. A diverse trip with something for everybody! Pindito never has a set itinerary. We plan our trips and water activities based on weather, tides and currents. From our expertise and experience, we know the ideal sea conditions for all the best and famous sites and when to dive them. And of course we have the not so famous, and even secret, equally spectacular sites that only a few of us know about.
